Why use a handover checklist
Most problems in Telegram channel deals come from steps that were skipped: an age that was never checked live, a bot or linked group nobody mentioned, or an old admin who kept full rights. A shared checklist lets the buyer and seller agree on every step before money moves. Copy it into your chat so both sides work from the same list.
What counts as good evidence
- Live is better than screenshots. A screen recording that scrolls to the first message is stronger than an image, which can be edited.
- Dated records beat claims. For income, ask for payment records over several months, not a single screenshot.
- Never ask for member data or private messages. Counts, views and history visibility are enough.
Not sure about the age? Use the free group age checker or check the creation date. To estimate a fair price, try the channel value calculator.
The ownership transfer itself
Ownership moves with Telegram's built-in owner transfer: the buyer is made an admin with every permission, then the owner chooses Transfer Channel Ownership (or Transfer Group Ownership) and confirms with their two-step verification password. Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my login code to transfer a Telegram channel?
No. Ownership moves with Telegram's built-in owner transfer. Anyone asking for a login code or password is trying to take the account, not buy the channel.
Why can't the seller transfer ownership yet?
Telegram usually requires the owner to have two-step verification enabled for at least 7 days and a session older than 24 hours, and the buyer must already be an admin with every permission.
Is the linked discussion group transferred with the channel?
No. A linked group is a separate chat with its own owner, so it needs its own transfer if it is part of the deal.
What happens to bots connected to the channel?
Bots belong to whoever created them in BotFather. Agree in writing whether bots are handed over, replaced or removed.
Are my ticks saved or sent anywhere?
Ticks are stored only in your own browser so you can come back to them. Nothing is sent to our website.
