The usual causes
- Fails for everyone: the link passed its expiry date, reached its usage limit or was revoked.
- Fails for one person: they are on the chat's Removed users list (new links keep failing until an admin removes them from it), or their account has joined too many chats.
- Only sends a request: the link needs admin approval; nothing is broken.

Before you put a link in an ad
Test it from an account that is not in the chat, and avoid usage limits lower than the joins you expect. Create tracked links with the link generator and plan a member campaign with the members cost calculator.

Frequently asked questions
Why does a new Telegram invite link say expired?
If it fails for only one person, they are probably on the Removed users list. An admin must remove them from that list; new links do not help until then.
How do I check a link's limits?
Open the chat info, tap Edit, then Invite Links. Each link shows its expiry date, usage limit and joins.
Can a revoked link work again?
No. Share the current link instead.
Why do people only see a join request?
The link requires admin approval. Accept the pending requests or create a link without approval.
Is anything sent to your website?
No. The troubleshooter runs in your browser.
