Telegram Web: log in from any browser.

Telegram Web is the official browser version of Telegram. Your chats come from the Telegram cloud, so they look the same as on your phone.

1. Open Telegram Web

Type web.telegram.org in the address bar of Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. Only use this address: copies on other sites can steal your login code.

2. Log in with a QR code

1. On your phone, open Telegram, then Settings, Devices.
2. Tap Link Desktop Device.
3. Point the phone camera at the QR code in the browser.
4. If you use two-step verification, type your password in the browser.

3. Log in with your phone number

1. Choose to log in by phone number instead of the QR code.
2. Pick your country and type your number.
3. Telegram sends the code inside the Telegram app on your other devices. If you are not logged in anywhere, it may send it by SMS.
4. Type the code, and your two-step password if asked.

4. WebK and WebA

Telegram has two official web apps, Telegram WebK and Telegram WebA. Both open from web.telegram.org and show the same chats; they only look a little different, and you can switch between them in the menu.

On iPhone and Android you can open Telegram Web in the phone browser too, and add it to the home screen.

5. Log out safely

• In Telegram Web, open the menu, Settings, and log out.
• If you forgot to log out on a shared computer, open Settings, Devices on your phone and end that browser session.
• If Telegram is blocked on your network, Telegram Web is blocked too, because it uses the same servers.
