How boosts work
- Subscribers with Telegram Premium can boost a channel.
- Each boost level unlocks features such as stories and visual customisation; Telegram shows the required number for each feature in the channel's Boosts screen.
- Boosts expire when a supporter's boost period ends, so the count can drop without warning.
Telegram has changed boost requirements over time, which is why this planner uses the numbers your app shows instead of fixed values.
How to keep your level
- Remind supporters before their boosts expire, and thank people who boost.
- Keep a small buffer above the level you need.
- Grow the audience that can boost: more engaged readers means more Premium supporters. See how to grow a Telegram channel.
Buying an established channel? Ask which features depend on boosts, because boosts belong to supporters and may expire after the handover. Use the handover checklist and see old Telegram channels.

Frequently asked questions
Do Telegram channel boosts expire?
Yes. A boost lasts for the supporter's boost period; when it ends, the channel's count drops unless the boost is renewed.
How many boosts does my channel need?
It depends on the feature. Telegram shows the required number in the channel's Boosts screen; enter that number in the planner.
What happens when boosts drop below the level?
Features unlocked by that level stop being available until the channel gets enough boosts again.
Do bought members add boosts?
No. Boosts come from subscribers with Telegram Premium who choose to boost the channel.
Is my data saved?
No. The planner runs in your browser.
