What decides a Telegram gift's price
- Collection: each gift type, such as Plush Pepe or Durov's Cap, has its own market and its own lowest price.
- Model, backdrop and symbol: every collectible gift has one of each, and the percentage shows how rare it is in its collection. Rarer traits usually sell for more.
- Number: collectors often pay more for low numbers, such as #1 to #100.
- Supply: the quantity line shows how many gifts of the collection were issued.
Where the prices come from
Prices come from Fragment, the marketplace Telegram runs for collectible usernames, numbers and gifts. The checker shows Fragment's asking price or last sale for this gift, and the cheapest gift of the same collection for sale on Fragment now. Amounts are in Gram (formerly TON), with a dollar value at Fragment's rate of the day. Collectible gifts are also resold in the Telegram app and on other marketplaces, where prices can differ.
Regular gifts and collectible gifts
Regular gifts are bought with Telegram Stars and stay inside Telegram. A regular gift can be upgraded into a collectible: it then gets a number, a model, a backdrop and a symbol, and it can be transferred or sold. What does the percentage next to a model mean?
It shows how common that model, backdrop or symbol is in the collection. 0.5% means about 1 gift in 200 has it, so a lower number is rarer.
Where do I find my gift's link?
Open the gift in Telegram and share it, or copy its address. It looks like t.me/nft/PlushPepe-2163: the collection name, a dash and the gift's number.
Why does the checker show no Fragment price?
The gift is not listed on Fragment now and its last sale did not happen there. It may still be sold in the Telegram app or on another marketplace.
Is this tool free?
