2. Why Telegram freezes accounts
A freeze is a response to a breach of Telegram's Terms of Service. Telegram does not publish a full list of triggers. The ones users report most are mass messages to strangers, many spam or scam reports, and automated activity from scripts or unofficial apps. A freeze is stronger than a spam limit, which only stops messages to people who are not your contacts.
3. How to appeal a frozen account
- Open @SpamBot from the frozen account. It is Telegram's official Spam Info Bot and the only chat a frozen account can write to. Check the verified badge: fake bots copy the name.
- Press Start and choose the option to appeal.
- Answer every question honestly and in detail: what you use the account for, and what happened before the freeze.
- Complete the captcha if you are asked to. A full browser works more reliably than the in-app browser.
- Wait for the answer in the same chat. Sending the same appeal again does not speed it up.
4. If the appeal fails, or you do not appeal
A frozen account that is not restored is deleted. Deletion is permanent: according to the Telegram FAQ, the phone number can register again, but as a new user without the old messages, contacts or groups. If the account owns channels or groups, make sure a trusted second admin is in place so the community is not lost; ownership itself can only be transferred from a working account (see how to transfer channel ownership).
5. How to avoid a freeze
- Do not send the same message to many people who never wrote to you.
- Use the official Telegram apps and avoid automation on personal accounts.
- Start slowly with a new or newly bought account: normal everyday use before any promotion.

- Promote only to people who asked to hear from you, so you collect fewer reports.
